Install Orion for Linux with Flatpak

Orion for Linux is distributed exclusively through our dedicated Flatpak repository and is not available through Flathub. Once Orion is installed, future releases are delivered through the same repository—no separate package downloads required.

New installation

If Flatpak is not installed yet, follow the official setup instructions(opens in a new tab) for your Linux distribution, then run these commands:

1. Add the Orion Beta repository

flatpak remote-add --if-not-exists orion-beta https://flatpak.orionbrowser.com/orion-beta.flatpakrepo

2. Install Orion

flatpak install orion-beta com.kagi.Orion

Manage your installation

Update an existing installation

flatpak update com.kagi.Orion

Check the available version

flatpak remote-info orion-beta com.kagi.Orion
